Remembering release notes

Hi.

I'd really like it if Feeder would remember where the release notes file for my application is. It's a pain to have to keep reselecting it each time.

Also I wish it would trigger the upload of the release notes file just before I publish the feed, rather than having to do that as a separate process.

Hi!
I'm all new to Together, so please forgive if this is a stupid question.

I'd like to share some notes with friends, and we usually do this "old school" via email. Are there any possibilities to send a note as an email directly from within Together? If so, I can't seem to find it... Please advise :)

Removing Red Highlighted Deleted Items

How do we remove a lot of the red-lighted deleted items from showing up. I have a lot of those scattered all over the place due to some recent drive cleaning.

Publish hangs on "Preparing to publish" with a "nil URL argument" in the log

Been using Feeder for a while to publish a few feeds. Today when I went to publish two they both hung on "Preparing to publish". Worked fine yesterday, only thing that changed was I went from 4 to 8 GB of memory. I rebooted and one of the feeds worked. Tried publishing all the other feeds (unchanged) and they worked fine. This one continues to hang in the same place. Nothing changed in the configuration of the feed or Feeder.

I looked in the log and saw the following error. I double checked any possible URLs that might be nil and tried publishing again, still hangs. It is publishing to an Amazon S3 account.

If I remove the latest entry from the feed then it publishes fine. There are no differences in how this item is defined in the feed over the previous items. This same item publish in the other feed that originally hang just fine after the reboot.

Feeder Version 2.3.1 (1625) running on Mac OS X 10.7.3

Any suggestions?

url changes to lower case

I'm having a strange problem on one of my podcast feeds all of a sudden. It looks like the enclosure url is correct when I mouse over the mp3 file link, but when i click it, it changes everything to lower case and so I get a 404 error. Is this coming from Feeder?

Hi, Steve

I use Feeder at work for updating itunes U, and I find it pretty useful. It would be good if other people could update the RSS feeds though, so that it wasn't all reliant on me.

Is there any way they can be saved remotely, say on some server space, or shared drive space, and be updated by different people using Feeder on different computers?

How do I delete a podcasts?

I my many attempts to create a podcast, I have mistakenly created a few I no longer want. How can I do this using feeder? I tried to do this using iTunes "Report a Concern" and it says that I need to add the tag to my RSS feed. Is this something I can do with Feeder?

In the past I used to be able to drag an email message from Apple Mail to Together and Import it. Now the import button is greyed-out....

iTunes store update

Hi, it's taking almost a week for our new podcast to show in the store.
The new episode is there - I can see it if I click update podcast in my podcast subscription on my mac. But it's not in the store, so you can't find it on an iOS device.
We used to ping iTunes but that doesn't seem to work now.
Any ideas to speed it up?

I have been using Together for a while, but I do not usually need to do searches. I can search on the document title and the tag. And I think that I used to be able to search the contents of PDFs, but when I tried to do that today no search results were returned. All of my PDFs have been OCRd before they enter Together. I am not sure what needs to be done to change this.

Uploading to Flickr Pro hangs

I am still getting a problem uploading images to Flickr Pro. Poster goes through all of the motions and then stops at 219K and sits there.

The poster server logs look OK but I get the following error in the Console

Font Styles Management

I've been using Together for a long time but only came across this issue now: How do I change text/font styles? I can see that I can add a new style to my favorite styles or document styles... but how can I edit them, i.e. make changes to them? It seems the only way is to remove the style completely and then recreate it from scratch with the intended changes already in place. This is just plain stupid... unless I'm totally missing something here.

Also, I'd like to have those changes to a style reflected across all the notes where that style is used. Just the way it is done in Pages and Word.

Together loses changes when I save a plain text note

Hi,

Together is a great app, my productivity has definitely increased since I started using it; thanks for making this!

I'm faced with an annoying issue, though. Together loses changes when I make changes to a document and save it. This has been happening intermittently since I upgraded to Lion and so far I have only noticed it with Plain Text files that I have imported (moved) into Together.

When I make changes to the file and hit Cmd-S, the contents of the file are reset back to the older state and my changes are lost. Quitting and restarting Together seems to fix the issue (for a while).

I've taken to editing these documents in an external editor to work around this, but that significantly reduces the utility value of Together. Especially because plain text files make up a large part of my library [1]. Is anyone else experiencing this and is there a fix or work around I can apply?

[1] If you are wondering why I use plain text so much, it's because I prefer Markdown to RTF. First class support for Markdown in Together would be an awesome addition.

Any tips on using Poster with Lightroom 4? I have created an export preset that calls the app at the end, but if I export multiple photos, it calls Poster after each photo. How can i call Poster after the batch is done and then upload them in one session?

Rich Text Editor loses focus

I'm working on a quite large note with Together 2.5.4.
This note contains excerpts from web pages I have copy pasted into Together (from safari). These excerpts contain graphics, and it seems that it messes up with the rich text editor component of Together.

Symptoms :
Let's say I'm adding text content at the end of my note. When I save it the keyboard focus get's back to whatever place (for example middle of the note), which is kind of annyoing.
Same behaviour when I switch to another mac app and go back to Together, keyboard focus is reset to another place, it just doesn't stay at the end of the note ...
I don't have this problem with other rich text applications so I'm not sure it's because of the cocoa rich text component ...

Other than this very annoying problem I absolutely love this app ! :)

Steps to move a Podcast hosted on my iDisk/MobileMe to an FTP site

hi all - wondering if i can ask for some help: i have a podcast (about 80 episodes, 10Gb of raw data) that is on the iTunes Store and is hosted through my iDisk/MobileMe account. as both are going away, i've grabbed a domain and hosting account from GoDaddy and want to figure out how to move both the files and the feed.

i loaded Feeder and tried to use the help function, but have been unsuccessful in doing anything except generating a new .xml file (now on the GoDaddy server) that, when accessed, points back to all of the files on my MobileMe account.

is there a straight-forward way to do this, or am i best simply republishing the entire body as a new podcast feed directly to my GoDaddy server, and then figuring out how to move the link within iTunes?

i can't be the first to try and do this... all help most welcome!

shelf look changes (lion 10.7.3)

Hi,

When I drag a file to the shelf and don't drop it but move it out of the shelf again, the look of the shelf-window changes in that way, that the tabs (library, favorites, quick note) disappear and it gets smaller.

Is that on purpose?
or is it just a minor bug?
